Almost 50 guns worth thousands of dollars were stolen in a nighttime break-in of a gun store in east-central Fresno, police said.
About 10 p.m. Friday, the burglar alarm went off at PRK Firearms at 1401 N. Clovis Ave., north of Highway 180. Police found the front door broken open and 23 rifles and 24 handguns missing. The guns’ cost ranged from $750 to $2,100 apiece.
Police released a surveillance video and are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects and the two vehicles used in the burglary.
The video shows a dark-colored, two-tone Ford Excursion and a light colored VW Jetta, Nissan Altima or similar car. The two vehicles are clearly together and the suspects can be seen communicating, police said. It appears each vehicle is occupied by at least three subjects.
Three people walk to the front of the business while other suspects stay in a vehicle to act as lookouts, police said.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP (7867).
