The newest Dutch Bros Coffee location just north of Fresno will open at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

It will be the first Dutch Bros in Madera, and is near the southwest corner of Avenue 12 and Highway 41. It’s at Riverwalk at Riverstone, a new planned community that will mix housing, restaurants and retail.

Mexican restaurant Papi’s Mex Grill is also planning a new location there, along with several other local businesses.

The Madera Dutch Bros will have a single-lane drive-thru and a walk-in lobby with seating, similar to the location at Palm and Herndon avenues.

Dutch Bros drive-thrus are popular favorites in Fresno, often attracting long lines of cars.

The coffee shop is known for its caffeinated employees, loud music and espresso-based drinks – like the Golden Eagle, which is espresso with half-and-half, vanilla syrup and caramel sauce. Its menu also features its own line of Blue Rebel energy drinks.

The coffee shop will give away free stickers during its grand opening Wednesday.

Details: Dutch Bros is at 113 Riverwalk Blvd., Madera. 541-955-4700. Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
